The author analizes conditions in Serbian agriculture, especialy the aspect of
choice of actual model of development of agricultural sector. In this study
dominates issues on the type of organization in agriculture and measure that
guarantee materialization of selectied aims of development.
Special place in orientation for the selection of strategy of development in
agriculture have the measures in agricultural policy, problems in Serbian
agriculture and strategic options necessary for determination in global agricultural
strategy.
At the end, the choice of development strategy that prefers export of
agricultural products is optimal solution for our country, but it`s necessary that
state change relation to this sector of doing business.
