This book serves as a milestone that systematized the 10 years of existence of the MERCOSUR´s Specialized Meeting on Family Farming, which is considered a successful example of an institutional space that uses a dialogue process between States and Civil Society to discuss public policies towards family farming. FAO has been a major partner of this Meeting during these years and also works with the States that are part of MERCOSUR in strengthening family farming.
