Lanzamiento de la iniciativa global AgriConnect para América Latina y el Caribe, una plataforma de colaboración estratégica coliderada por el IICA y el Grupo Banco Mundial, con la participación de organismos como IFC, FAO, BID y FIDA. El programa busca generar cambios estructurales en el sector agroalimentario mediante la articulación público-privada para conectar a la agricultura familiar con mercados, financiamiento, tecnología digital y gestión de riesgos climáticos. Se detallan seis áreas estratégicas de acción (políticas públicas, infraestructura, conocimiento, financiamiento, modelos de agregación y tecnología) con la meta de alcanzar a 60 millones de agricultores en la región, implementando a Brasil como su primer caso piloto.
Launch of the AgriConnect global initiative for Latin America and the Caribbean, a strategic collaborative platform co-led by IICA and the World Bank Group, with the participation of organizations such as IFC, FAO, IDB, and IFAD.
