The Action Plan 2026-2029 for the implementation of the FAO Science and Innovation Strategy guides the implementation of the FAO Science and Innovation Strategy. It provides a common framework for FAO action at the country, sub-regional, regional and global levels. The Action Plan 2026-2029 is an update of the initial Action Plan 2022-2025. The Strategy and Action Plan provide a coherent, robust and useful framework for organizing and streamlining FAO’s work on science and innovation. The Action Plan is structured according to the three pillars, nine outcomes and two enablers of the Strategy. They rest on the foundation of the Strategy’s seven guiding principles, which are inter-linked, and guide all the Organization’s science and innovation-related work.
