Econometric estimates were used to evaluate the impacts, differentiated by segments of the national population and geographical areas. In the same manner, the demonstration of mitigation effects by specific agricultural practices offers valuable information for the design of policy recommendations aimed at maximizing the farmers’ profit when facing increasing phenomena of land degradation.4application/pdfFAOImpact of soil loss in Malawi: microeconomic effects of soil and nutrient loss.
